Before starting the review about this book, let me tell you about myself I am an amateur mediocre reader, I started my reading life in my college days starting with Chetan’s Half girlfriend, It is a very good book it actually pushed me into this reading world. After that, I almost completed all of his books. Then I moved to other authors like Ajay K Pandey, Savi Sharma, Leigh Bardugo, Agartha christie, etc, and a lot of self-help books. Suddenly, reading books became one of my hobbies. Thanks to Chetan for bringing me into this world and he will always be one of my favorite authors.

I bought this book last month on amazon. It was delivered in a couple of days in a good condition and very good packing. Thanks to the delivery person for his humble attitude and his service in these difficult days. My first impression after receiving the book was Wow it is a quite huge book when compared to other books of Chetan’s.

Okay, let's talk about the storyline. Keshav and Shaurab are close friends running a part-time detective agency called Z-detectives. These are the same characters from Chetan’s previous books The Girl in Room 105 and One Arranged Murder. There isn’t much happening in both their lives Shaurab is working in a cyber security firm and Keshav is preparing for his UPSC studies. Until one day Alia Arora comes to Keshav with a case about his daughter Siya a 12-year-old who suddenly vanished from her grandparent's house in the dead of the night. Police searched her for nine months, couldn’t find her and finally, it became a cold case without any clue or evidence to move forward. Everyone in the family and the police gave up except one person her mother Alia Arora. What is the mystery behind the Siya’s vanish and what happened to her? Will Keshav and Shaurab will be able to solve this mystery? are the latter part of this book. It is a crime thriller story where the detective friends are in a quest to solve Siya’s case.

Let’s come to the review part. It is much like the other recent books from Chetan The Girl in Room 105 and One Arranged Murder. If you have read these two books, you will enjoy some references from them. If you don’t worry you can still read and enjoy this book. This book contains all the elements of a typical Bollywood movie like Romance, Humor, Family drama, Mystery, and a little bit of action at the end. It will make a good screen adaption for movies. It is an engaging book written in a simple linear manner, you can complete this book in a couple of sittings. ( I completed this book within 48 hours in two sittings )

Now, the negative part. Well, there is nothing new in this book it is almost similar to his previous books. The romance part can be avoided or at least reduced, it feels unwanted in the middle and disturbs the main story. Most of the twists are the expected ones. It is categorized as a mystery book but the mystery part is very little. The ending feels like it is done in a rush but it is a decent ending.

It is a decent entertainer and a one-time read. You will enjoy this book if you are Chetan’s fan and enjoyed his previous works. It is packed for all levels of readers.

Comments: Decent Entertainer.
